AEROSTRIP® Diffusers

  The AEROSTRIP® diffuser has been designed as a fine bubble diffuser device with very low energy demand, wich may be safely employed for domestic and industrial sewage treatment worldwide.
The materials used for AEROSTRIP® diffusers are resistant against all components which are permitted to be fed to a sewage treatment plant in accordance to German ATV-regulations (ATV A115 Anlage 1).

Operation behaviour of AEROSTRIP® diffusers in waste water
 

The excellent figures of AEROSTRIP® diffusers are not achieved in clean water tests only, but also in practical operation with sewage. Tests showed a considerable alpha-value of ~0.8.

The figure of employed energy for BOD5-removal would have more relevance from practical point of view. Heavy loaded plants equipped with AEROSTRIP® are employing less than 0.3 kWh for the treatment of one kg BOD5, which may peak to an excellent 0.5 to 0.7 kWh per kg BOD in plants using extended aeration..
